I’ve tried multiple bidets for round toilets at this point and can vouch for which ones fit the best and provide the most comfortable sitting experience in addition to offering the best features.
I’ve tried every bidet in this article, most in both the round and elongated forms. I’ve included some that I haven’t tried personally (in round) but have a successful history of use on round toilets.
Best Budget Bidets for Round Toilets
Brondell LT and LE 89 and 99 RW Bidets
Brondell makes a line of affordable bidets that have become popular for round toilets: the LT89, LT99, LE89, and LE99.
The two LE versions have a warm air dryer. The two 99 versions come with a wireless remote while the 89 versions have a side panel.
Also, the wireless remote versions (the LE99 and LT99) have two user presets. I.e., they let two users save their preferred settings.
Wireless Remote / User Presets | Side Panel / No User Presets | |
---|---|---|
Warm Air Dryer | LE99 | LE89 |
No Warm Air Dryer | LT99 | LT89 |
The four bidets are otherwise identical.
For the most part, I’d recommend the LT89—the one with the side panel and no dryer.
They’re all great and any will do, but I found the wireless remotes with the 99’s to be too sensitive. It was hard to handle the remote without pressing a button or two by accident.
I found the dryer performance to be lackluster with an air velocity of only about 900 ft/min. It won’t hurt anything to have the dryer, but it’s kind of useless. So, I think going with the LT89 makes the most sense since its costs the least.
Round Dimensions
The round version measures 19.5” long with a rear seat height of 7”. The LE99/LT99 are 15.9” wide. The side panel adds 2.5″ of width to the LE89/LT89.
All 4 bidets have a sitting surface of about 11.5” and bowl opening of 10.6”.
Pros and Cons
Pros:
- All 4 are available in round.
- Some of the most affordable options in the lineup.
- Endless heated water.
Cons:
- Lackluster dryer performance (LE89 and LE99).
- I found the wireless remotes to be too sensitive (LT99 and LE99).
- The side panel models (LT89 and LE89) lack user presets.
Features and Performance
Cleansing Performance
- Great cleansing performance.
- Single, 2-in-1 stainless-steel nozzle for front and rear cleansing.
- Default spray session of 2 minute.
- Great water pressure with max flow rate of 0.8 L/min.
- Strong wash button sets water pressure to high.
- 5 nozzle positions for aiming.
Warm Water
- Hybrid heater for endless warm water.
- In testing the bidet on high, the water flowed at max temp (~98° F or 36.7° C) for 40 seconds and then cooled down to (and remained at) 90° F (32.2° C) thereafter.
Advanced Spray Features
- Oscillation setting to cover a greater area.
- Massage mode that pulsates water pressure for a soothing effect.
- Sitz bath setting that provides an extended cleansing session at low pressure. This feature is meant for soothing irritated skin, hemorrhoids, etc.
Controls
- Handy side panels for the LE89/LT89.
- Wireless remote with touchpad with the LE99/LT99.
Warm Air Dryer (LE89 and LE99 Only)
- Adjustable warm air dryer with variable temp settings.
- 2min default dry time.
- Below-average performance on dryer test.
Convenience Features (LE99 and LT99 Only)
- The LE99 and LT99 let two users save their preferred water pressure, water temp, nozzle position, seat temp, and dryer temp.
Efficiency
- Two energy-saver modes. The Standard Eco mode keeps the water and seat temp to 89.6° F between uses. The High-Efficiency setting turns the water and seat heaters off when the bidet isn’t in use.
Nightlight
- Blue in-bowl nightlight to help you use the bathroom at night without having to turn on blinding lights.
Sanitation
- Sturdy stainless-steel nozzle resists soiling.
- On-demand and automatic nozzle self-cleaning functions.
Seat and Lid
- Adjustable heated seat w/3 temp settings ranging from Low (93.2°F) to High (107.6°F). Or, from about 34° C to 42° C.
- Easy bidet removal button
- Slow-close seat/lid.
Bio Bidet USPA 6800U
The Bio Bidet USPA 6800 (now the 6800U) is a great bidet that’s available for round toilets.
It is marketed as a luxury-class bidet. I don’t think I’d go that far but is one of the better Bio Bidets on the market, and definitely one of the best bidets in this price range. In fact, it has several features lacking in the highly popular and expensive BB-2000.
Round Dimensions
The round USPA 6800U measures 15.4” wide by 19.7” long with a rear height of 5.7”.
I’d estimate the sitting surface at about 14” (35.6cm) and bowl opening at around 10.8” (27.4cm).
Pros and Cons
Pros:
- Great bidet with a long track record of user satisfaction. It’s very popular, overall. In fact, I think I get more positive comments and general questions about this bidet than any other.
- Offers more features than any other entry-level bidet.
- It’s about half the price of the BB-2000 despite offering most of the same features.
Cons:
- The warm air dryer is not so great.
- IME, the round version often costs more than the elongated for some odd reason.
Features and Performance
Cleansing Performance
- Great cleansing performance.
- Default 1min spray session for both front and rear cleansing modes.
- Great water pressure with max output of 0.24 gal (or ~ 0.9 L) per minute.
- Above-average coverage with nozzles that seem to move a greater distance. Both front and rear nozzles are adjustable across 5 positions for accurate aiming.
Warm Water
- Endless heated water via advanced reservoir heater.
- When testing the bidet, I found the water to flow at max temp of ~102° F (38.9° C) till about the 40-second mark. The temp then dropped to about 90.9° F (32.7° C) and stayed there.
Advanced Spray Features
- Oscillation mode causes the nozzle to move back and forth to cover a greater area.
- Massage mode rotates soft and strong pressure for a massage effect.
- IPP “enema” mode for constipation relief. The massage mode doubles as a feature that’s meant to help stimulate bowel movements. Instead of the vortex function (see the BB-2000), it’s not designed for water to enter the rectum. The strong water pressure is pulsed in a special rhythm to massage the sphincters and stimulate bowel movements.
Controls
- Luxury double-sided wireless remote with LCD display.
Warm Air Dryer
- This bidet comes with a warm air dryer with a default dry time of 3 minutes.
- It performed slightly below average on the dryer test.
- You can adjust both the speed and air temperature.
- The temp can be adjusted to 140°F (60°C), but I measured the air velocity at only about ~1028 ft per minute on the high setting.
Convenience Features
- Two user presets for front and rear cleansing. The presets let you (and another user) save your favorite nozzle position, water pressure, water temperature, seat temp, and dry temp. This feature was not included with the original USPA 6800.
- Auto function. Pressing the “Auto” button during normal cleansing initiates a minute of cleansing (oscillation, massage, and basic rear cleansing) followed by 3 minutes of drying.
- Child mode. Pressing the kids button puts in place child-friendly settings, so kids won’t need to know which settings to choose and can operate the bidet by pressing one button.
Efficiency
- The 6800U comes with an energy-saver mode that keeps the water and seat temperatures set to low when the bidet isn’t in use. The water and seat surface are kept from dropping below room temperature.
Nightlight
- The bidet comes with a blue in-bowl nightlight. This feature was added to the 6800U but wasn’t available with the original 6800.
Air Deodorizer
- The USPA 6800U is one of the only entry-level bidets on the market to offer a built-in air deodorizer. A fan and carbon filter eliminate bad smells by removing molecules from the air that cause foul odors.
Nozzle System and Features
- Plastic dual nozzle system.
- Instead of a single multi-action nozzle, the 6800U has dual nozzles, one for front and the other for rear cleansing.
- Nozzles self-clean before and after each use and can be made to self-clean on-demand.
Seat and Lid
- Comfy heated seat with multiple temp settings, ranging from 91° F (32.8° C) to 102° F (38.9° C).
- Side button for easy bidet removal and re-attachment (for cleaning moving, installation/de-installation, etc.).
- Slow-close seat and lid to save wear and tear.
Alpha iX Hybrid RW Bidet for Round Toilets
One of the most affordable options for round toilets is the Alpha iX Hybrid. It shares the same basic unit with the BB U770 (below) and offers most of the same features at a lower price. It also has a higher-quality look and feel to it, IMO.
You can compare prices here and here. Bidet King owns and operates Alpha Bidet. They run a lot of sales, offer extended warranties, offer advice about toilet fitment, etc. So I usually recommend them for Alpha bidets. For an extra-discounted price, see this option.
Round Dimensions
The round iX Hybrid measures 15.9” wide by 19.5” long with a rear height of 6”.
Image.
It has a sitting surface of about 14” and bowl opening of 10-1/4”.

- Easy bidet removal button.
- Slow-close seat/lid.
Round Bio Bidet Ultimate 770
The BB Ultimate 770 is pretty much just a pricier version of the Alpha iX, but I wanted to list it here in case BB happens to run a sale on it. Otherwise, I’d go with the iX since the extra cost only gets you the advanced user presets.
Round Ultimate Dimensions
The round version measures 15.9” wide by 19.5” long with a 7” rear height.
Like the iX, the round Ultimate 770 has a sitting surface of about 14” and bowl opening of 10-1/4”.
Pros and Cons
Pros:
- Available in round.
- Way more features than typically available at that price point—endless heated water, stainless-steel nozzle, warm air dryer.
- Among the best user presets.
Cons:
- Significantly more expensive than the Alpha iX despite offering little extra.
- Average dryer results.
Features
Cleansing Performance
- Good cleansing performance.
- Default spray session of 1 minute.
- Great water pressure with max output 0.8 L/min.
- Turbo button sets water to high.
- 5 nozzle positions for aiming.
Warm Water
- Advanced reservoir heater: Bio Bidet’s Fusion heating technology provides endless heated (never-cold) water flow.
- It’s only kind of warm after the first 40 seconds or so. In testing the bidet on high, the water ran at max temp of 102° F (or 38.9° C) for the first 40 seconds and then cooled down to 93.1° F (33.9° C) where it stayed indefinitely. Results will vary based on the temperature of the incoming (tap) water.
Advanced Spray Features
- Oscillation setting for greater coverage.
- Pulsation mode for massage effect.
Warm Air Dryer
- Rather ineffective adjustable warm air dryer.
- 3min default dry time and 5 temperature settings.
- Max temp of 122° F (50° C) and lackluster air velocity of ~1000 ft/min.
Controls
- Sleek wireless remote and small auxiliary panel.
Convenience Features
- Great user presets like the 6800U. You and another user can save your preferred nozzle position, water pressure, water temperature, heated seat, and warm air dryer temp.
- Child button puts kid-friendly settings in place.
Nightlight
- Blue in-bowl nightlight.
Efficiency
- Multiple automatic energy-saver settings: The basic setting keeps the seat and water temperatures at 89°F. The power setting keeps the heaters off when not in use.
Sanitation
- Sturdy stainless-steel nozzle resists soiling.
- On-demand and automatic nozzle self-cleaning functions.
Seat and Lid
- Adjustable heated seat w/3 temp settings.
- The temp range wasn’t listed in the manual, but I tested it at 91.2° F (low), 95.5° F (med), and 100.3° F (high). Or from 32.9-37.9° C.
- Easy bidet removal button and slow-close seat/lid.
TOTO C100 and C200
Unfortunately, TOTO’s only entry-level offerings for round toilets include the C100 and C200. The one pictured above is the C100. The C200 has a remote instead of a side panel and comes with user presets.
Aside from that, the two bidets are essentially the same.
Make sure to get the correct versions, since some come in a D-shape version that’s meant for TOTO’s wall-hung toilets.
You can compare prices for the C100 here and here.
The C200 can be found here and here.
The new C2 and C5 were meant to serve as modern versions of the C100/C200, but the C2 and C5 are only available for elongated toilets.
Round Dimensions
Both measure 19.3″ (49cm) long with a rear height of 7.4″ (18.8cm). Hence, the old-school bulky design.
The C200 is 15.4″ (39.1cm) wide while the side panel makes the C100 18.8″ (47.8cm) wide.
Both have a bowl opening of 11″ (28cm).
The C100 has a sittable length of 16.2″ (41.2cm). The C200 has a sitting surface of 15.6″ (39.5cm).

Brondell SE400-RW and SE600-RW
Two more popular entry-level Brondell options available for round toilets are the SE400 and SE600 RW bidets.
I haven’t tried either of these bidets, but this model is particularly popular and gets good feedback.
You can check out current prices here: SE400 RW and SE600 RW.
The main difference between the two is that the SE600 has a wireless remote while the SE400 has a side panel. Also, the SE600 has an air deodorizer.
Round Dimensions
Both measure 19.5” long and 6.1” high. The SE600 measures 15.1” wide while the SE400 measures 18.2” in width due to the side panel.
The two bidets have an estimated sitting surface of 15.2″ (38.6cm) bowl opening of 9.6” (24.4cm).

- Available in round.

Round Bio Bidet BB-1000 Supreme and BB-800 Bidets
The BB-1000 is one of Bio Bidet’s original best-selling electric bidet seats.
Feature-wise, you can do better for the money, these two bidets have a long history of positive user experience. So, you know you’re getting a bidet that has stood the test of time.
I have used the BB-1000 in the past and can vouch for it. The two bidets are essentially the same, but the 800 has a side panel instead of a remote.
You can check current prices for the BB-1000 here and here.
You can check out the BB-800 can be found here and here.
Round Dimensions
The round version of both bidets measures 19.4” (49.3cm) long by 7.3” (18.5cm).
The BB-1000 is 18.7” (47.5cm) wide while the BB-800 is 49.5cm wide.
So, the BB-800 measures is as wide as it is long, at about 19.4” x 19.4”.
With a rear height of 7.3” (18.5cm), both are quite bulky, overall.
I currently have one of these in the mail. When it arrives, I’ll measure the sittable length and bowl opening.

- Both are available in round.
- One thing I liked about the BB-1000 was the impressively strong water pressure that it offered by way of the vortex wash setting. The BB-800 also has this setting.

Best Value Bidet for Round Toilets: Alpha JX-RW
If I could only recommend one bidet for round toilets, it would be the Alpha JX. It’s the only luxury-class bidet that you can get for an entry-level price.
It costs less than some of TOTO’s entry-level bidets, despite offer far more features.
This bidet won CNN’s best bidet of the year and it outperforms most of the bidets I’ve tested.
Round Dimensions
The round version measures 15.1” (38.5cm) wide by 19.4” (49.3cm) long with a 5.8” (14.7cm) rear height.
It has a bowl opening of 10-1/4” and an estimated sitting surface of about 13-3/4”.
Pros and Cons
Pros:
- Available in round.
- Offers all of teh best features at a reduced price.
- Least expensive luxury bidet, costing less than some of the entry-level options above.
- Least expensive option with a tankless water heater.
- The only option to have an antimicrobial nozzle and the first bidet in the lineup to have a sittable lid.
Cons:
- Lacks a couple of features common to luxury bidets (air deodorizer, etc.).
- The dryer performs slightly above average, but it’s rather ineffective, overall.
Features and Performance
Cleansing Performance
- Excellent cleansing performance,
- Default spray session of 1 minute.
- Great water pressure with max output 0.7 L/min.
- 5 nozzle positions for aiming.
Warm Water
- Tankless/instantaneous water heater for endless warm water with full temperature control. Better than the endless heated options above (those with hybrid heaters), since the cleansing spray does not drop in temperature after the first half minute. It can stay at max temp indefinitely.
- Three temperature levels range from Low (93° F) to High (104° F). Or from 33.9° to 40° C.
Controls
- Luxury handheld remote with LCD display.
- Handy auxiliary panel at top/rear of the bidet.
Advanced Spray Features
- Oscillation setting for greater coverage.
- No pulsation/massage mode.
Warm Air Dryer
- Adjustable warm air dryer with 5 temp settings.
- 3min default dry time.
- Slightly above-average performance on dryer test.
- Max temp of 122° F (50° C) and measured air velocity of ~1288 ft/min.
Convenience Features
- 2 easy one-push auto modes deliver a wash or wash + dry cycle with the most popular settings in place. This feature saves the user from pressing buttons. Also, guests, kids, and the elderly needn’t know how to operate the bidet or which settings to choose.
Efficiency
- I measured the energy use of this bidet over a month and it came to about 2 kWh for a single user.
- It has an ultra-efficient water heater and two energy-saver settings. Instant heaters only use energy when cleansing with warm water. I.e., there is no tank of water to keep warm 24/7.
- One eco mode keeps the heaters on low when the bidet isn’t in use and the other turns the heaters to low based on light conditions (i.e., the heaters are activated when you turn on the bathroom lights).
Nightlight
- Best in-bowl nightlight has an automatic setting that turns the light off and on as needed based on light conditions.
- The light is extra-bright.
- It’s one of the few bidets with a white light instead of blue.
Sanitation
- Sturdy aluminum nozzle is treated with antimicrobial technology making it inherently resistant to microbial growth.
- On-demand and automatic nozzle self-cleaning functions.
Seat and Lid
- Adjustable heated seat w/3 temp settings and temperature range of between 89.6° F (32° C) and 100.4° F (38° C).
- Sturdy, sittable lid with a high weight limit supports using the bidet as a general-purpose seat.
- Soft-close seat and lid
- Side button for easy bidet removal and re-attachment.
Pricier Options
Round Bio Bidet BB-2000
I’ve installed and used this bidet but haven’t owned it.
You can check out current prices here and here.
The BB-2000 Bliss is a very popular bidet that used to only be available in elongated form. Nowadays, the bidet is also available for round toilets.
Bio Bidet has come out with several great bidets since the BB-2000, but this seat remains the most popular of their bidets. There must be a reason for it.
If you’re looking for a bidet that’s stood the test of time, you can’t go wrong with this one.
Round Dimensions
The round version measures 15.4” (39.1cm) wide by 18.9” (48cm) long with a rear seat height of 5.8″ (14.7cm).
It has a sitting surface of about ~15” and bowl opening of ~11-1/3”.
Pros and Cons
Pros:
- Available in round.
- One of the best-selling bidets of all time.
Cons:
- A bidet in this price range should have an instantaneous heater, but the BB-2000 has a hybrid heater. Performance-wise, hybrid heaters are somewhere between basic tank-type and instantaneous-type heaters. I.e., while the water never runs cold, you don’t get full temperature control from start to finish.
- Lacking in convenience features. For example, there are no user presets, which is odd for a bidet in this price range. Also, the auto function only runs for a total of 1.5 minutes (30sec wash + 1min dry time).
Features
Cleansing
- Great cleansing performance.
- Great water pressure with max output 0.7 L/min.
- Multi-action, 3-in-1, stainless-steel nozzle with 5 positions.
Warm Water
- Advanced hybrid heater provides endless heated water. While not as good as a tankless heater, the water never runs cold. In my experience, the water starts out kind of warm, warms up to max temperature, and drops to the low to mid 90’s Fahrenheit thereafter.
- The bidet has three temperature levels reaching a high of 104° F (40° C).
Controls
- Luxury handheld remote with LCD screen.
- Small auxiliary panel at the side of bidet.
Advanced Spray Features
- Oscillation setting via “Move” button for wider spray coverage.
- Massage mode pulses water pressure for a soothing effect.
- Vortex enema mode provides an extra-strong and narrow stream of water for bidet enemas.
- The vortex function doubles as a general high-pressure mode for extra-strong cleansing.
Warm Air Dryer
- Adjustable warm air dryer with multiple temp settings.
- 3min default dry time.
- Max temp of 131° F (55° C).
Efficiency
- Single energy-saving Eco mode.

Sanitation
- On-demand and automatic nozzle self-cleaning functions.
Seat and Lid
- Adjustable heated seat with multiple temp settings, reaching a high of 104° F (40° C).
- Soft-close seat and lid
- Quick-release button.

The Best-Money-Can-Buy Option for Round Toilets: TOTO S350e SW583
The best bidet on the market for round toilets is the TOTO S350e. Not only does it offer the most features, but it has the best dimensions for round toilets. Warning: this one ain’t cheap. But if money is no object, the TOTO SW583 is the best.
You can compare prices here and here.
For one, they managed to get the rear seat height down to 100mm which is sub 4 inches. That’s insane, I’ve seen bidet seats over 7” high in the rear.
The minimal slope and flat contour allow for extra sitting room. Often with bulkier bidets, the high slope pushes the user to the front of the seat taking up the room. This bidet is as close to a flat surface as it gets.
TOTO has four top-tier luxury bidets: the S500e, S550e, S300e, and S350e. These four bidets are largely viewed as the best money can buy.
Pretty much the only difference between the S500e/S550e and S300e/S350e is that the latter two (S300e and S350e) are available for round toilets.
The difference between the S300e and S350e is that the 350 version offers a couple of extra features, like the auto-open/close seat and lid and in-bowl nightlight.
Because the 300 and 350 are essentially the same price, I recommend the S350e since you’ll get the additional features.
If you decide to go with this bidet, make sure you get the right one (SKU of SW583#01 ) since the other version is only compatible with TOTO toilets (it has auto flush compatibility). If you have a compatible TOTO toilet, either version is fine.
Round Dimensions
The round version measures 15.4” (39.1cm) wide by 18.8” (47.8cm) long at only ~3.9” (10cm) high in the rear.
I’ve never measured the bowl opening, but I’d estimate the sitting surface at about 16.3” (41.4cm).
Pros and Cons
Pros:
- Best-suited bidet for round toilets—it’s essentially made for round toilets.
- One of the best bidets on the market, overall.
- The S350e has all the high-end TOTO features like EWATER+ wand sanitation, pre-mist and post-mist toilet bowl sanitation, endless warm water, air deodorizer, and intelligent energy-saving modes.
- It’s the only option in the lineup with an auto-open/close seat and lid and one of two TOTO bidets to have an in-bowl nightlight.
- Best warm air dryer in the lineup.
Cons:
- Most expensive option.
Features
Cleansing

- Water flow rate of 0.43 L/min and 5 nozzle positions for aiming.
Warm Water
- Luxury instant heater for endless warm water.
- Three water temp settings ranging from 86° F (30° C) to 104° F (40° C).

- Wide Front setting: this bidet has a soft frontal cleansing mode for wider, gentler cleansing.
- Soft Rear setting for extra-gentle cleansing (bidet sitz bath sessions, etc.).
Warm Air Dryer
- Best warm air dryer.
- The dryer is above-average in strength, with an air volume of 10.2 ft3 (~0.3 m3) per minute.
- 3 temperature settings ranging from About 95° F (35° C) to a max temp of 140 °F (60° C).

Convenience Features
- User profiles let two users save their preferred water temp, water pressure, and nozzle position.
Air Deodorizer
- Strong air deodorizer circulates 5.7 ft3 per minute through a carbon filter that breaks down molecules responsible for embarrassing odors.
Nightlight
- One of two TOTO bidets (along with the S550e) with a bowl-illuminating nightlight.
Efficiency
- Four energy-saving modes including intelligent eco modes that memorize when you’re least likely to use the bidet to turn the heaters down during periods of infrequent use.
- Super-efficient water heater.
Sanitation
- Automatic nozzle sanitation feature rinses the cleaning wands with EWATER+on-demand and before/after each use. EWATER+ is a solution containing electrolytes that form sodium hypochlorite, a natural antimicrobial chemical used in water treatment.
- The pre-mist and post-mist functions help keep the toilet bowl clean. When you sit, the bowl is sprayed with EWATER+ to create a slippery surface so that waste won’t adhere. When finished, the bowl is then sprayed again before flushing. This feature makes the normal flushing action more effective.
- The auto-open/close feature (see below) allows for a hands-free experience and better hygiene.
Seat and Lid
- Heated seat w/3 temp settings ranging from Low (82° F) to High (97° F). Or from 27.8-36.1° C
- Motion sensors detect when you approach and leave the toilet, causing the seat and lid to open and close automatically.
- Quick-release tab for easy bidet removal and cleaning.
