10 Best Toilets with Bidets 2023

Today we’ll be comparing the best toilets with bidets, both integrated and non-integrated.

In case you’re new to the subject, toilets with bidets come in two forms:

  • Non-integrated toilet with bidet: this is the kind in TOTO’s Washlet+ line. These are standard one- or two-piece toilet that are sold with a bidet seat in place of the stock toilet seat. I.e., TOTO might put the S550e on one of their popular toilets and sell them as a pair. This kind tends to be less expensive (~$800+) but it depends on the bidet seat.
  • Integrated bidet-toilet combo: this is a toilet with a built-in bidet. The is typically tankless and can be floor- or wall-mounted. They’re more expensive, typically starting at about $1,200. I’ve seen them priced as high as $7,000.

The Best Toilet-Bidet Combos: Integrated Options (More Expensive)

BioBidet P700 and P770 Prodigy Smart Bidet Toilet Combos

The Bio Bidet P770

We’ll start with one of the better and more affordable integrated toilet-bidet combos, the Bio Bidet P770 (affiliate link). The link is to Bidet King, this one is not typically available on Amazon.

It’s a tankless toilet (or concealed tank) with a built-in premium (mid-tier) bidet.

The Bio Bidet P770 is the best bidet toilet for the money, at least, when it comes to integrated toilet-bidet combos.

I don’t own this model, but I’ve used it before so I can vouch for its effectiveness.

It offers the best water pressure in the industry, even better than the BB-1000 (the bidet seat with the strongest pressure).

For a little less, there’s the P700 which has most of the same features (pretty much all but the auto-open/close seat and lid). It costs about the same, so I tend to recommend the P770. But the P700 can be found here (affiliate link).

Like the U770 seat, it has a basic tank-type heater so it only offers limited warm water (about a minute).

As I always point out, 1 min is plenty long enough for most cleansing sessions but could be an issue if the bidet will be shared by several users and used back-to-back.

Another cool feature is the enema mode, meant to help relieve constipation, and doubles as a general high-pressure spray setting for those who prefer an extra-strong wash.

(Stronger pressure cleanse faster, see this article). *

The concentrated spray stimulates bowel movement and can be used to allow water to enter the rectum for a makeshift enema.

The main difference between the P770 and other integrated bidet-toilet combos is the price, with the P770 being about 1/3 the cost of other popular BTCs on the market.

Unlike some of the more expensive options, the P770 is dual-flush, using less water over time, which adds to the savings.

It has a compact, streamlined appearance that lets you conceal water connections (if the bathroom allows for it) which gives it a nice clean look upon Installation.

Features and Specs

Water Temperature and Pressure:

  • Basic-tank-type heating system with a 1/3-gallon reservoir. With a flow rate of 0.31 gal/min, you can expect about ~1 minute of warm water.
  • Adjustable water temp. Choose between “Off” (cold tap) and 3 settings that range from 93° F to104° F.
  • Adjustable pressure w/5 settings and a max output of 0.31 gal (or ~ 1.2 L) per minute.
  • Enema mode for extra-strong water pressure.

Comfort:

  • Heated seat with 4 temperature settings including “Off” and from 93° F to 104° F.
  • The seat isn’t particularly long, but it’s flat which provides extra room up front for a comfortable sitting experience.

Convenience:

  • Sleek wireless handheld remote.
  • Auto flush automatically flushes the toilet when the user stands up using just the right amount of water each time.
  • Flushing manually and via remote-control. You can activate small flush (0.9 GPF) or full flush (1.2 GPF) per remote control.
  • There’s a manual flush button to the right of the seat (on the control panel) that can be used any time but is especially useful during power failure.
  • P770 only: open and close the seat and lid via remote or motion sensor. The lid is automatically opened when you approach or stand in front of the bidet. The remote has 3 buttons: lid open, seat/lid open, and lid close.

Other Luxury Features:

  • Warm air dryer with 4 temperature settings including “Off” and from 93° F to 104° F.
  • Air deodorizer removes offensive bathroom odors. When activated, the bidet automatically deodorizes when sitting for up to 20 minutes and for a minute after standing up.

Cleaning Wand and Spray Capability:

  • Single, 3-in-1 stainless-steel nozzle for rear and feminine cleansing.
  • Adjustable nozzle position for aiming accuracy.
  • High-pressure enema mode for relieving constipation.
  • Nozzle oscillation setting. The nozzle moves back and forth for more effective cleansing and greater coverage.
  • Pulsating cleanse setting causes the water stream to rotate soft and strong pressure for a massage-like effect.
  • Rhythmic mode combines oscillating and pulsating functions.

Safety:

  • In-bowl nightlight so you can easily find your way through the bathroom at night without turning the lights on.
  • Safety occupied seat sensor prevents accidental bidet operation.

Sanitation:

  • Automatic self-cleaning nozzle rinses itself before and after each use.
  • Made of antimicrobial materials. The cleaning wand, seat, and lid have been treated with a special antimicrobial coating to protect against bacterial contamination.
  • Anti-pollutant coating on toilet bowl provides a non-stick surface, helping the flushing action to thoroughly clean the bowl with less water.
  • Bowl cleaning function similar to TOTO’s PREMIST feature. It further helps create a non-stick surface on the toilet bowl so the flushing action can remove all of the waste.

Water Efficiency:

  • Smart dual flush automatically activates the correct size flush when necessary. The full flush uses 1.2 GPF while the small flush only uses 0.9 gallons.
  • Air is added to the outgoing bidet stream for added comfort and water efficiency. ***

Energy Efficiency:

  • The P700 and P770 have a lower-efficiency water heater, but they come with an energy-saving Eco mode to help cut down on power use. Pressing the Power Save button causes the seat and water temperatures to be maintained at 86° F.

Installation:

  • Easy 3-step installation. BB advertises a simple installation process with this unit.
  • 12” Rough-in.
  • Dimensions: the P770 and P700 are 27.5″ (L)15.5″ (W) x 20.5″ (H).
  • Power cord length of 5 feet.

Kohler Veil Intelligent Bidet Toilet Combo

Kohler K-5401-PA-0 Veil Comfort Height Skirted One-Piece Elongated Dual-Flush Intelligent toilet, White

For a good bit more than the Bio Bidet options, you can get the Kohler Veil Intelligent bidet toilet (Amazon link).

You can find it here on Bidet King as well (affiliate link).

Unlike the P770 and P700, the Kholer Veil has an instantaneous water heater for endless warm water and max energy efficiency.

Speaking of efficiency, the Veil is WaterSense certified and has the dual-flush feature, letting you choose between full and partial flushes.

The toilet offers an extra layer of sanitation with the UV light and electrolyzed water feature that disinfects the surface of the cleaning wand. It offers oscillation and massage pulse spray modes as well as a unique Spiral setting that sprays water in a circular motion.

There’s a wall-hung version of the Veil Intelligent, but I recommend the floor-mounted version because you needn’t worry about installing a tank behind the wall.

The tankless design of the floor-mounted Veil Intelligent uses an internal pump to replace gravity.

Since the pumping action uses electricity (initially when it activates and de-actives), the Veil has an emergency flush feature that supports up to 100 flushes without electricity, for times when you may experience a power outage.

The Veil takes comfort to the next level in that it has an elongated bowl for extra room in the front and a Comfort Height seat, having been upgraded to a 17” sitting height.

Features and Specs

Water Temperature and Pressure:

  • Endless warm water via inline, instantaneous water heating system.
  • 5 temperature settings for each wash mode.
  • Adjustable water pressure with 5 pressure settings.

Comfort:

  • Heated seat with multiple temperature settings.
  • Elongated bowl and flat seat for extra room and comfort.
  • The Veil is Comfort Height, so it sits at chair-height (17”) making sitting and standing easier for adults of all ages.

Convenience:

  • Aesthetic touchscreen remote with LCD display that comes with a wall-mounted docking station.
  • Auto flush feature that activates a flush 60 seconds after the user stands up or when the seat is lowered or the user leaves the area.
  • A manual (or “emergency”) flush function for power outages that allows the toilet to be flushed up to 100 using battery power.
  • Motion-activated auto open/close lid feature for hands-free opening and closing of the seat cover.

Other Luxury Features:

  • A warm air dryer with adjustable temperature levels.
  • Automatic deodorizer that removes embarrassing odors at the source.
  • Gentle, quiet-close seat to save wear.

Cleaning Wand and Spray Capability:

  • Single, multi-action stainless steel cleaning wand offers front and rear cleansing.
  • Adjustable nozzle (5 positions) for aiming accuracy.
  • Oscillation feature causes the cleaning wand to rapidly rotate back and forth to hit a wider area and clean more effectively.
  • Massage function pulses strong and soft pressure for a massage-like effect.
  • You can press the “Massage” button three times to get simultaneous oscillation and pulsation.
  • Spiral feature. The Veil is one of the only bidets to offer adjustable spray shape, or spiraling spray pattern.

Sanitation:

  • On-demand nozzle self-cleaning function uses UV light and electrolyzed water to sanitize the cleaning wand.
  • UV light disinfects the nozzle surface for an added layer of sanitation.
  • Integral filter for clean cleansing water. ***

Safety:

  • Safe nighttime bathroom navigation via built-in bowl-illuminating LED nightlight.
  • Safety sensor that requires skin contact for full bidet operation.
  • ADA Compliant meeting ADA code requirements

Water Efficiency:

  • Dual flush design lets you choose between full lush (1.28 GPF) or partial flush (0.8 GPF) so that you only use the amount of water needed.
  • Pump-assisted flushing for strong flush performance while using less water.
  • WaterSense certified.

Energy Efficiency:

  • Tankless heater makes the bidet among the most energy-efficient on the market.
  • The Veil also has an auto energy-saver mode that conserves energy during periods of infrequent bidet use.

Installation:

  • Floor-mounted tankless toilet with direct water supply.
  • Fully skirted with elongated bowl.
  • 12” Rough-in.

The Bio Bidet Discovery DLX Smart Bidet Toilet Combo

Next up, is the BB Discovery DLX (affiliate link).

There are a few differences between the Discovery DLX and P770. The DLX costs more and is harder to find at major retailers, but it does offer a few unique features.

For example, it has a higher-end heater that offers endless warm water.

It also has a UV nozzle sterilization feature for an added layer of sanitation.

Also, unlike the P700 and P770, the DLX has two auto modes (front and rear) for easy one-push operation.

By pushing one button, you get a 1-min wash and 4-min drying session without having to choose a bunch of different settings.

However, while it’s usually considered a better bidet overall, the DLX does lack a few of the P770 features.

For example, while the P770 has a motion sensor that opens the lid when you approach, the DLX has a small kick button at the front/bottom of the toilet that you tap with your foot.

Tap the kick button once to open the lid, twice to raise the seat, and three times to close the seat and lid. You can also flush the toilet by tapping the kick button.

Another difference is that the DLX doesn’t have a dual flush feature—so it doesn’t use less water for #1.

It also lacks a pulse-massage mode.

Both the P770 and DLX have enema functions but they work differently.

The P770 has a traditional (tried and true) enema function that uses high water pressure, while the DLX has a dynamic stream feature meant to help relieve constipation.

The DLX’s dynamic stream function rotates warm and cool water to stimulate bowel movements.

I can testify that the high-pressure mode of the P770 works for relieving constipation, but I’ve never tried the dynamic stream.

One last note is that the DLX doesn’t let you flush the toilet when someone is sitting down. I know some prefer to flush before cleansing so just know that that won’t be an option.

Features and Specs

Water Temperature and Pressure:

  • Instantaneous heater provides endless warm water.
  • 4 temperature settings for each wash mode: “Off” position (cold tap) and from 86° F to 104° F.
  • Adjustable pressure w/3 settings that provide a water flow rate from 0.11 gal to 0.2 gal (or ~ 0.42-0.76 L) per minute.

Comfort:

  • Heated seat with adjustable temperature controls. Choose between “Off” position and 3 settings that range from 82.4° F to 104° F.
  • Flat seat with plenty of room in the front.

Convenience:

  • Double-sided wireless remote control.
  • Remote-control flush.
  • Auto touchless flush that’s activated when the user stands up.
  • Unique Kick Flush feature: for easy manual flushing, tap the Kick button with your foot (located at the bottom front of the toilet).
  • Automatically open/close seat and lid via remote control or kick button.
  • Two auto modes. The auto rear wash initiates 1 minute of rear cleansing followed by 4 minutes of drying. The auto front wash activates a 1-minute frontal cleansing session followed by a 4-minute drying session.

Other Luxury Features:

  • Warm air dryer with adjustable temperature controls including the “Off” position and 3 settings that range from 95° F to 131° F.
  • Automatic air deodorizer runs for 10 minutes after the user stands up.
  • Slow-close seat or lid to preserve the life of the toilet.

Cleaning Wand and Spray Capability:

  • Single, multi-action stainless-steel nozzle for regular (posterior) and feminine cleansing.
  • Adjustable wand position for aiming accuracy.
  • Spray settings: Rear, Front, Oscillation, and Dynamic Stream.

  • Dynamic stream feature alternates between hot and cold water to help stimulate bowel movements for relieving constipation.

Safety:

  • Intelligent seat sensor to prevent accidental bidet operation.
  • UL and UPC certified.
  • Soothing in-bowl bidet nightlight for safe bathroom navigation.

Sanitation:

  • Automatic self-cleaning nozzle that self-sanitizes via electrolyzed water and built-in UV sterilizer.
  • Purified water: the DLX comes with a dedicated filter to ensure that your bidet only sprays clean, filtered water.

Water Efficiency:

  • Flush type: tornado flushing provides effective flushing using less water.
  • Aerated bidet cleansing for water efficiency.

Energy Efficiency:

  • There is no power-saver Eco function, but it’s not needed as much since the bidet has an instantaneous water heater.
  • The DLX automatically goes into low-power mode after 24 hours of disuse, cutting all functions to turn off.

Installation:

  • Power cord length: 3.93 Feet.
  • Tankless toilet with skirted design.
  • Dimensions: 26.89in (L) x 15.75in (W) x 16.3in (H).
  • 12” Rough-in.

TOTO Neorest MS992 Bidet Toilet Combo

TOTO MS992CUMFG#01 Neorest Bathroom-Hardware, Cotton White

One of the more popular bidet toilet combos is the TOTO Neorest MS992 (Amazon link).

The NEOREST comes in several versions: MS992, NX1, and NX2; and the MS992 is the more affordable of the three. It has a more conventional design (it’s less futuristic-looking) but comes with most of the same features.

It’s a fully-skirted toilet with an elongated Universal Height seat.

It comes with a high-end water heater and luxury features like an auto-open/close seat and lid, a self-sanitizing wand, and a self-cleaning bowl (PREMIST).

If you’re familiar with TOTO bidet seats, it’s somewhere between the C5 and S550e in terms of bidet technology.

It’s in the 1.0 GPF Gravity Flush line of TOTO toilets, so it’s WaterSense certified and thus one of the more water-efficient options. The dual-flush feature lets you choose between 1.0 and 0.8 GPF.

Kohler Eir Luxury Bidet-Toilet Combo

Kohler 77795-0 Eir Toilet, White

Another Kohler option is the Kohler Eir luxury bidet toilet (also available here).

The Kohler Eir is basically a more water-efficient version of the Veil (above) but with an auto bowl cleaning function and gold trim around the rim.

Being like the Veil, it has endless warm water and wand sterilization via UV light and electrolyzed water, adjustable everything, heated seat, massage/oscillating/spiral spray modes, auto air deodorizer, and that signature polished/minimalistic look Kohler is known for.

Compared to the Veil, the Eir costs an arm and a leg extra (~about 20% more), in my experience, and I’m not sure the extra features are worth it.

I guess the water savings could add up to help offset the difference in price.

Features and Specs

  • Instantaneous heater for limitless warm water.
  • 5 temperature settings for each wash mode.
  • Adjustable water pressure w/5 settings.

TOTO NEOREST NX1 Bidet Toilet Combo

TOTO MS900CUMFG#01 NEOREST NX1-COTTON W/O ACTILIGHT, Cotton White

Next up is the newer version, called the TOTO NEOREST NX1 (also available on Amazon).

Like the MS992, it’s in the 1.0 Gravity Flush line with TORNADO Flush technology. It’s WaterSense certified and is dual-flush, using 1.0 and 0.8 gallons per full and partial flush, respectively.

The toilet is tankless with a skirted bowl and an elongated, Universal Height seat.

For a fancy toilet, you can’t do any better than TOTO’s NEOREST models, but for high-end bidet technology, you can do just as well with one of the WASHLET+ models that pairs a high-quality TOTO toilet with the S550e.

After all, the NX1 has a tankless heater for max comfort and efficiency.

I’d recommend the NX1 if money isn’t a limiting factor AND you’re looking for a high-end luxury toilet to go with an ultra-modern bathroom.

The Best Toilet with Bidet (TOTO Washlet+ Line)

Along with the BB P770, these are the best bidet toilets for the money.

Toilet with Bidet Option 1: TOTO Drake w/C5 Washlet+

TOTO Drake Transitional WASHLET+ Two-Piece Elongated 1.28 GPF TORNADO FLUSH Toilet with C5 Bidet Seat, Cotton White - MW7863084CEG#01

First up is the TOTO Drake w/C5 Washlet+ bidet (also available on Amazon).

Prices vary, but this option will probably be the least expensive in the lineup. The TOTO C5 is a mid-range bidet and the Drake is fairly basic, being a two-piece toilet with a non-skirted bowl.

As a premium (mid-tier) bidet, the C5 offers several luxury features (wireless remote, deodorizer, auto bowl cleaning, nozzle sanitizing, etc.) packaged with a basic tank-type water heater, which helps keep the price down.

It has 90% of the important features most look for in a bidet (e.g., warm air dryer, multiple spray modes). The toilet is single flush but only uses 1.28 gallons per flush. Along with the aerated water spray, this pair is quite water-efficient.

Features and Specs

Basics:

  • The toilet is two-piece with an exposed (non-skirted) trapway.
  • The bowl shape and bidet are elongated.
  • Transitional-style tank for tapered look.
  • Chrome-plated trip lever.
  • Dimensions: 24-7/16” (L) 18-5/8” (W) x 29-1/2″ (H)
  • 12″ Rough-in
  • Power cord length of 3.93 feet.

Water Temp and Pressure:

  • Basic tank-type heater for limited warm water flow.
  • Water temp settings: “Off”, and from Low (95° F) to High (104° F).
  • Adjustable water pressure w/5 settings.
  • Water flow rate of 0.07 to 0.11 gal (or 0.27 -0.43 L) per minute.

Convenience:

  • Sleek illuminated wireless remote with touchpad.
  • Warm air dryer w/adjustable temperature settings.
  • 2 User profiles for storing preferred settings for water pressure/temperature and nozzle position.
  • Slow-close seat and lid to save wear and tear.
  • Quick-release mechanism for easy bidet removal and cleaning.
  • Automatic air deodorizer eliminates foul odors at the source to help keep the bathroom smelling clean.

Comfort:

  • Aerated water stream for firm yet comfortable cleansing.
  • Heated seat with adjustable temperature.
  • Non-bulky design allows plenty of room in the front.

Design and Curve:

  • At only 5.8” (~14.7 cm) high in the rear, the TOTO C5 is one of the slimmest bidets of its kind. Bidets with tank-type heaters are typically bulky in the back.
  • Minimalistic plain white design with few visible decals.
  • This version of the C5 conceals the supply connection for a clean and seamless look upon installation.

Cleaning Wand and Spray Capability:

  • Single plastic dual-action nozzle for rear and front cleansing.
  • Adjustable wand positions with 5 settings for aiming accuracy.
  • Oscillating mode causes the wand to move back and forth to cleanse a wider area.
  • Massage/pulse mode rotates strong and soft pressure for a soothing effect.

Safety and Sanitation:

  • Automatic and on-demand nozzle self-clean function. Automatic means the nozzles self-clean before and after each use.
  • The cleaning wand self-rinses with EWATER+ for further sanitation. EWATER+ is a solution that forms NaClO, a natural antimicrobial substance use in water treatment.
  • The Drake toilet has TORNADO flush technology which creates a centrifugal rinsing action, keeping the toilet extra clean while using less water.
  • CEFIONTECT ceramic glaze keeps the waste from adhering to the porous surface of the toilet bowl, allowing the flushing action to completely clean the bowl.
  • The TOTO C5 PREMIST function sprays the bowl with water before each use, further preventing waste from sticking to the bowl.

Energy Efficiency:

  • The TOTO C5 has a tank-type heater that draws power around the clock, but has energy-saving modes to help make up for it. It has 4 Eco modes that lower/turn off the energy-zapping bidet components during periods of infrequent use.

Water Efficiency:

  • The bidet provides an aerated wash for water efficiency.
  • The Drake’s TORNADO flush technology uses 1.28 gallons/flush.

Toilet with Bidet Option 2: TOTO Drake 1G Toilet w/S550e Washlet+

TOTO MW7463056CUMFG#01 Drake 1G WASHLET+ Two-Piece Elongated Dual Flush 1.0 and 0.8 GPF Universal Height DYNAMAX TORNADO FLUSH Toilet with S550e Bidet Seat, Cotton White

Next up is the Drake 1G w/S550e Washlet + (Also available on Amazon).

For a bit less, you can get the same toilet with the TOTO S500e (available on Bidet King and Amazon). Of the non-integrated options, the Drake 1G + S500e is the best bidet toilet for the money–especially, if you can do without the nightlight and auto-open/close seat and lid (exclusive S550e features).

This one tends to cost more than the Drake/C5 combo because it comes with the top-tier S550e/S500e bidets. Plus, this version of the Drake is dual-flush and WaterSense certified, with 1.0 and 0.8 gallons per full and partial flush, respectively.

Also, this option comes with a tankless heater (both the S500e and S550e) for max energy savings (in addition to endless warm water). So, while it costs a bit more upfront, you’re looking at significant monthly savings. I.e., it’ll pay for itself faster if you choose to go with this option.

The S550e and S500e offer several features lacking in the C5 option above, like extra spray features and better PREMIST function. The auto bowl-clean function is fancier in that it sprays the toilet bowl with EWATER+ before and after each use.

With the advanced water heater, the S550e/S500e is much slimmer with less of a curve compared to the C5, so it looks less bulky and provides more sitting room. In fact, the S550e and S500e are two of the slimmest bidets on the market with a rear seat height of only 5″ (~12.7 cm).

The S550e version costs a bit more than the version with the S500e (IME, usually another $90-$100) and comes with an automatic open/close seat and lid (motion-sensing and via remote) and a nightlight.

Nightlights illuminate the bathroom just enough so you can make your way to and use the bidet in the dark. So, it’s nice for those who make frequent trips to the restroom at night since you can avoid blinding bathroom lights.

If you can do without the nightlight and auto-open/close seat and lid, I’d recommend the version with the S500e.

Features and Specs

  • Dimensions: 27-3/8″ (L) 16-1/2″ (W) 30-1/16″ (H)
  • 12″ Rough-in
  • Power cord length: 3.93 feet.
  • The S500e is plain white, few decals, and concealed supply hose and power cord for clean look upon installation.

  • Adjustable water temperature, from 95° F to 104° F.
  • Adjustable water pressure w/5 settings.
  • A water flow rate of 0.08 to 0.11 gal (0.32 -0.43 L) per minute.

  • The S550e lets you open and close the seat and lid via remote control.
  • Quick-release tab for easy bidet installation, removal, and cleaning.
  • Automatic air deodorizer removes embarrassing bathroom smells.
  • Auto-flush compatibility is available with the SW3046AT40#01 S500e. With Auto-flush, the bidet can be synced with the toilet letting you flush via remote control.

Comfort:

  • Universal height to increase accessibility.
  • Elongated seat with minimal curve/contour for plenty of room in the front.
  • Heated seat adjustable from 82° – 97 °F.
  • Aerated water for soft cleansing.

Cleaning Wand and Spray Capability:

  • Single plastic dual-action nozzle for posterior and female hygiene.
  • Cleaning wand adjustable across 5 positions for accurate aiming.
  • Special Rear Soft for bidet for soothing irritated skin (ex: hemorrhoids) and Wide Front mode for extra-soft feminine cleansing.
  • Nozzle oscillation mode for cleaning a wider area.
  • A setting that pulses water pressure for a soothing massage effect.

Safety and Sanitation:

  • Automatic and on-demand nozzle self-cleaning functions that use antimicrobial EWATER+ for an added layer of sanitation.
  • The Drake’s advanced centrifugal flushing action and CEFIONTECT ceramic glaze help keep the toilet bowl clean.
  • The pre- and post-mist function sprays the bowl with EWATER+ before and after each use to create a slippery surface to prevent waste from sticking to the bowl.
  • Safety seat sensor to prevent accidental bidet operation.
  • With the S550e version, you get a nightlight for safe bathroom navigation in the dark.

Energy Efficiency:

  • With both the S500e and S550e, you’ll get the most energy-efficient bidet heaters on the market.
  • Several Eco low-power modes regulate the seat temperature during periods of infrequent bidet use.

Water Efficiency:

  • The Drake’s advanced TORNADO dual-flush action only uses 1.0 and 0.8 GPF.
  • Air is incorporated air into the water stream for further savings.

Toilet with Bidet Option 3: TOTO Aquia IV S550e WASHLET+

TOTO MW4463056CUMG#01 WASHLET+ Aquia IV 1G Two-Piece Elongated Dual Flush 1.0 and 0.8 GPF Toilet with S550e Electric Bidet Seat, Cotton White

For a fancier-looking version of the previous option, consider the S550e or S500e paired with the Aquia IV toilet. You can check the current prices here (also available here).

The Aquia IV is also 2-piece but it has a fully-skirted trapway for that sleeker, more modern look. It has a slim tank and push-button flush valve.

It’s also dual-flush (1.28 and 0.8 GPF), WaterSense certified, etc.

Features and Specs

See the previous option for a full list of S550e features (Table of contents link). *

  • Two-piece fully-skirted toilet with elongated bowl.

  • Quiet-flush operation.
  • Clog-free 2.5″ trapway allows passage of more waste.
  • WaterSense via dual-flush 1.28 GPF and 0.8 GPF operation.
  • Ultra-high efficiency DYNAMAX TORNADO flusing cleans the bowl using less water.

Toilet with Bidet Option 4: TOTO Legato One-Piece w/S550e

TOTO MW6243056CEFG#01 WASHLET+ Legato One-Piece Elongated 1.28 GPF Toilet and Contemporary WASHLET S550e Bidet Seat, Cotton White

For a skirted one-piece toilet, you’ll want to check out the TOTO Legato w/S550e (also available on Amazon).

More modern look with a fully skirted trapway.

This is the first Washlet+ option in the lineup to come with a one-piece toilet. Instead of a conventional two-piece design, the Legato comes as one unit. I.e., the toilet bowl and tank are seamlessly connected.

The toilet has an elongated bowl and seat, concealed supply connections, and a slim tank with a chrome trip-lever.

This version comes with the S550e. So, it too offers advanced features like endless warm water, a warm air dryer, wireless remote, automatic air deodorizer, oscillation and massage modes, heated and adjustable everything, auto-open/close lid, etc. It’s also available with auto-flush.

While it’s WaterSense certified, the Legato uses 1.28 gallons per flush compared to the 1.0 GPF of the Aquia IV. It’s also single-flush, so it’s not as water-efficient.

But the toilet still comes with TORNADO flushing and CEFIONTECT ceramic glaze.

The Best Toilet with Bidet: Conclusion

There you have it. This article took a long time to research and write (more than I care to admit), so I hope it was helpful. It summarizes what I’ve learned from my personal experience as well as my experience working with bidets and bidet users, reading countless manuals, spec sheets, and product pages.

Toilets with bidets can take a few different forms, but the two broad categories include bidet-toilet combos (or integrated bidet toilets) and toilets that are sold with compatible bidet seats.

Sometimes, labels are used interchangeably, but they have their differences. Bidet-toilet combos are way more expensive, on average, and the toilets are usually a lot nicer.

As for bidet technology, a $1,500 TOTO Washlet+ has as much functionality as the $5,000 integrated bidet-toilet combos.

That should do it for now. Thanks for reading.
